At least three military personnel have been killed in a crash of a South Korean military helicopter in the country’s east, local media reported, citing military authorities.
MOSCOW – The tragic incident with the Bell UH-1H Iroquois helicopter occurred at about 10:10 a.m. (01:10 GMT) in the eastern city of Chuncheon.
It crashed into a farmland during a test flight, according to the Yonhap news agency.
The helicopter’s pilot has been hospitalized along with other crew members and is currently in critical condition. The cause of the crash is being investigated.
